Paintings take a long time to evolve. Beginning with some glimpse usually to do with

the reflection of light, the source of inspiration is often visited several times.

Working mostly in my Longford (Tasmania) studio, much time is spent in composing

each picture prior to painting. Sometimes studies are painted prior to a larger work.

I enjoy the quietness in my craft, wishing the pictures to uplift in some way.
What the viewer enjoys comes from within them. My wish is that such value grows.
